Welcome! We are a mental health counseling center. We are open to see clients in person and via telehealth and are accepting new patients (updated 12/6/2021).
Therapy can be a wonderful tool to help people live happy, fulfilling lives. Therapy addresses a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and grief but therapy can also be used for purposes other than immediate mental health concerns.
We have weekend and evening appointments available and specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults. We also complete court order mental health assessments.
We are currently only taking private pay clients but are able to supply you with a receipt of payment for services, i.e. a “Superbill”, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of-network providers however, many insurance companies may reimburse you for a portion of the fee of your appointments with out-of-network providers. We can provide you with monthly documentation of our appointments for this purpose if necessary. Please discuss your coverage with your insurance company before attending your appointment if this is an option for you. We hope to be accepting insurance in the future. Please see this link for our personalized explanation of what is a superbill and why we do not bill insurance
You are not alone in facing life’s problems; many people are experiencing similar pains, difficulties, and worries, and many people are getting help and growing through therapy. In fact, there are countless reasons why people seek the support of a counselor. Don’t let common myths or misconceptions about therapy stop you from finding help. The idea that people who go to therapy are “crazy” or “damaged” is false. Mental health concerns affect millions of people throughout the world and help is available. We believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veteran’s status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
